CCDG is dedicated to providing an environmentally friendly, family oriented, and socially beneficial sport that can coexist amicably with other recreations in municipal areas and parks.

The focus of CCDG is to promote the awareness of disc golf in Cecil County and the surrounding community. CCDG is dedicated to strengthening the community by providing and supporting volunteers to establish, develop, and maintain disc golf courses so individuals and families of all ages and skill levels can enjoy the sport.

The CCDG will lead the discussion about disc golf to help inform the public about its recreational and competitive aspects.  This hobby can be enjoyed regardless of age, skill level, or income level, and is capable of servicing a larger number of people than many other recreational activities. 

While disc golf can be very relaxing and social, the versatility of the sport allows for competition. The CCDG will conduct, host, officiate, and sponsor disc golf related events. These events will serve to provide the community with increased access to friendly competition within the venue of disc golf.

The central pillar of who we are is the promotion aspect. This is the leading focus of the CCDG’s mission. Carrying this aspect out includes, but is not limited to, the development of new disc golf courses, the maintenance of existing courses, and exposure through local events.
